Chaplain Nick Arroyo has been dedicated to serving the youth of San Bernardino County since 2009 as the Supervising Chaplain for the Juvenile Detention Centers. With a profound commitment to spiritual guidance and support, he has been instrumental in providing pastoral care and leadership within the juvenile detention system.

In his role, Chaplain Nick oversees a team of weekly ministers, coordinating Bible studies and church services for up to 400 youth per month. His responsibilities extend beyond weekly services; he also facilitates the distribution of Bibles, conducts baptisms, and offers one-on-one Biblical counseling sessions. Additionally, Chaplain Nick officiates baby dedications and weddings, providing spiritual support and guidance during significant life events.

Chaplain Nick’s dedication to sharing the Gospel has led to numerous youth entering into a relationship with Jesus Christ. He ensures that each encounter with the youth is an opportunity for spiritual growth and discipleship, nurturing their newfound faith with care and compassion. Moreover, his ministry extends beyond the youth population, as many adult supervisory staff members are also ministered to, fostering a supportive and spiritually enriching environment within the detention centers.
